The leaked autopsy details of Michael Jackson show that the pop icon was a virtual skeleton as he was barely eating and only had pills in his stomach when he died. According to the detailed autopsy reported by The Sun, Jackson was bald, bruised and had broken ribs. The singer’s hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle wounds, said to be result of injections of narcotic painkillers, given thrice a day for years.

Experts found the harrowing details while investigating his death. The examination showed he had plunged to a “severely emaciated” state. It said anorexic Jackson had been eating one meagre meal a day. His stomach was empty and only had partially-dissolved pills he took before the painkiller injection stopped his heart. The report said he was wearing a wig when he died and that a little more than “peach fuzz” covered his scalp. A scarred section above his left ear was entirely bald, said to be caused accidentally when his hair caught fire while making an ad.

The paper said Jackson also suffered several broken ribs as rescuers pumped his chest after he collapsed in cardiac arrest. Four injection wounds were found near his heart. All appeared to have resulted from attempts to pump adrenaline directly into the organ in a failed bid to restart it.  The autopsy also found unexplained bruises on Jackson’s knees and shins. His face bore many plastic surgery scars, while the bridge to his nose had vanished and its right side had partially collapsed.

Also to bring a shocking turn in the case, In an online article, freelance journalist Flynn Remedios after extensive research and investigation, has pointed out a new conspiracy theory that suggests that Shiney Ahuja is not the villain, but a victim of blackmail himself.

In his article, Flynn says that he spoke to several officials at the Oshiwara Police Station over two days, officers from the ‘Detection Section’ as well as some other domestic helps and maids who worked in the same residential complex where Shiney Ahuja lives. Flynn Remedios managed to track down a third, as yet unknown character in the “Rape Drama” – the so-called boyfriend of the alleged victim – Shiney Ahuja’s maidservant. The boyfriend or a ‘close friend’ of Shiney’s maid servant had a bad habit of gambling. He also did drugs and was himself a small time thief.

According to his investigation, it seemed to be somewhat apparent from the people he spoke to that Shiney Ahuja was himself a victim of blackmail and has been framed. His maidservant’s boyfriend or close friend was heavily in debt and probably “used” the maid servant to extract money from Shiney Ahuja.

“This is just a theory,” said Flynn Remedios, adding, “I do not want to influence, hamper or disturb the police investigation in any way, but as a journalist, I have to present the other side of the story and the various aspects and possibilities that have come to the fore. It is a fact that the alleged victim was friendly with some other male person of dubious character. There is a strong possibility that he could have used the alleged victim to extract money from Shiney Ahuja who at one time was pegged to be charging Rs One crore per film” .

Apparently, the maid servant had either seduced Shiney into having sex with her and then tried to black mail him or in a moment of weakness, Shiney Ahuja himself must have made a pass at her or tried to ‘get physical’. Whatever be the case, once the maid servant’s boyfriend realized that there was the proverbial golden goose waiting to lay the golden eggs, he first tried to extort money from Shiney Ahuja and when that probably failed, he got the maid servant to file a complaint of rape.

“At no point of time am I trying to suggest that some sort of sexual activity – whether consensual or coerced – did or did not take place. However, one important fact that the police investigation and the media has probably missed out is the presence of a gambler/drug user boyfriend or close friend in the life of the alleged victim maid servant and the possible role of such a character in the entire chain of events,” explains Flynn.

Some media reports have claimed that there were marks of “forced intercourse”, but unless the same are confirmed, all options are possible. “It is also possible that someone else may have used the maid servant to get even with Shiney Ahuja in either a professional or business vendetta after knowing his weaknesses”.

Report from Hyderabad, June 13: Sania Mirza’s engagement was an eyewash — she is already married and is a mother of two. If you believe the Andhra Pradesh government’s civil supplies department, that is. According to a ration card issued by the department, the Hyderabadi tennis star is married to one Lakshmi Narayana from Vepadu town in Vizianagaram, near Visakhapatnam. The couple have two children and their family business is trading.

The saving grace for Sania is that although it’s her photo on the card, the name is given as Prasanna Lakshmi. The state civil supplies minister, Jupally Krishna Rao, brought this to the notice of chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy during a review of the public distribution system at the secretariat this morning. Sania’s family was not amused. Imran Mirza said his daughter, who is playing in England and appears to have struck form in the run-up to Wimbledon, should not be distracted with such “silly things”.

The minister told reporters that the state’s population, calculated from ration card data, would be 9.8 crore although the actual figure was 8.5 crore. The state issues “white” ration cards to below-poverty-line (BPL) families and “pink” cards to the rest. The bogus cards are mostly white cards, which bring the benefits of Rs 2-a-kg rice, the Indiramma scheme for subsidised housing, and the Aarogyasree healthcare and insurance scheme. Minister Rao said nearly 1.8 crore white ration cards were in existence, showing a BPL population of 6.7 crore whereas the actual number of BPL people in the state was less than 4 crore.

The state government spends about Rs 3,500 crore annually on the Rs 2-a-kg rice scheme (which provides for 25kg per family of five), Rs 1,325 crore on the Aarogyasree scheme and Rs 5,000 crore on the Indiramma scheme.

Shiney Ahuja Rape case: Shiney Ahuja might be a rape accused, but he is first a star as far as the Oshiwara police are concerned. The actor, who has been accused of raping his maidservant, has been enjoying the VIP treatment at the police station ever since he was picked up yesterday evening. The maid, who is said to be between 18 to 22 years old, filed the complaint alleging that he had raped her at his residence when the apartment was empty. His wife, daughter and parents were in Noida.

In such cases, the alleged accused is immediately sent for the medical test and arrested based on the preliminary reports. However, Ahuja was taken for the test only at around 5.15 in the morning, a couple of hours after the victim had finished hers. This despite reports from police sources of Ahuja breaking down and confessing to the crime. He was arrested early this morning after the preliminary reports of the vicim's medical tests came in.

The Oshiwara police defended their move, saying, "We are waiting for the medical reports of the girl to ascertain if she was raped. Once we get the reports and if it is proved that she was raped, we will send Ahuja for the medical test. Then, if proved guilty, we will arrest him." Said DCP Niket Kaushik, "The girl filed the complaint today evening and we have brought Ahuja in for questioning? We are still investigating the matter."

But Berlusconi managed to block their publication in the magazine and across Italy. Some Italian media on Friday, on their Web sites, showed the photos in the context of the El Pais report. Italian media reports said Berlusconi's lawyer vowed to seek legal recourse in Spain.

The photo controversy and the parties are tied to the issue of complaints about Berlusconi's alleged use of official Italian aircraft to transport his guests to his villa, El Pais said. Berlusconi has denied any wrongdoing in the use of official Italian aircraft. Efforts by CNN to reach Berlusconi's attorney were unsuccessful Friday.

Owners of GM cars should see little change as a result of the bankruptcy since warranties will still be honored. But there will be plenty of pain caused by the bankruptcy and the company's efforts to stem losses. GM will shed its Pontiac, Saturn, Hummer and Saab brands and cut loose more than 2,000 of its 6,000 U.S. dealerships by next year. That could result in more than 100,000 additional job losses if those dealerships are forced to close. A dozen facilities were identified for closure. Those plants employ most of the more than 20,000 U.S. workers GM intends to cut by the end of next year.

Assembly lines in Pontiac, Mich., which make full-size pickup trucks, will be closed later this year. A Wilmington, Del.-based plant that makes roadsters for the Pontiac and Saturn brands, will also close later this year. Three parts distribution warehouses are set to close at the end of this year, while five engine plants and a stamping plant are due to close in 2010. An additional stamping plant is set to close in 2011. Three more plants. including assembly lines in Spring Hill, Tenn., and Orion, Mich.,are set to be idled and put on stand by status in hopes for a rebound in sales that may never come.

More than 650,000 retirees and their family members who depend on the company for health insurance will experience cutbacks in their coverage, although their pension benefits are unaffected for now. Investors in $27 billion worth of GM bonds, including mutual funds and thousands of individual investors, will end up with new stock in a reorganized GM worth a fraction of their original investment. Owners of current GM (GM, Fortune 500) shares, which closed at just 75 cents a share on Friday, will have their investments essentially wiped out. Officials from the Obama administration and the United Auto Workers union both have said they hope to sell their stakes in GM as soon as possible, but it is likely that shares of the new GM will not be publicly traded for at least a year or two.

The bankruptcy filing led the New York Stock Exchange to announce it would no longer list GM shares after Monday. It will also lead to the removal of GM as of June 8 from the Dow Jones industrial average, a distinction it has held since 1925. The company will be replaced in the Dow by technology giant Cisco Systems (CSCO, Fortune 500), Dow Jones said. President Obama is due to address the nation later Monday to make the case why the bankruptcy and the additional federal help was necessary. CEO Fritz Henderson, who is expected to continue running the company, will speak in New York shortly after the president finishes his remarks.

GM and the Treasury Department were able to get key concessions from the unions and major bondholders in the past two weeks. Those deals paved the way for a cleaner bankruptcy process, one that a senior administration official said Sunday could allow GM to emerge from the bankruptcy process in only two to three months. GM faced a deadline from the Treasury Department to come up with a plan to turnaround the company or file for bankruptcy by June 1. The company also owed its bondholders $1 billion in interest payments on June 1, money it did not have available to pay. According to GM's bankruptcy filing , the company has assets of $82.3 billion, and liabilities of $172.8 billion. That would make GM the fourth largest U.S. bankruptcy on record, according to Bankruptcydata.com, just behind the 2002 bankruptcy of telecom WorldCom. Three of the largest bankruptcies in history - GM, Wall Street investment bank Lehman Brothers and savings and loan Washington Mutual, have occurred in the last nine months.

GM will use the trip into bankruptcy court to shed the plants, dealerships, debt and other liabilities it can no longer afford. Emerging out of bankruptcy quickly will be a "new GM," made up of the four brands that GM will keep in the U.S. market -- Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC and Buick -- as well as many of its more successful overseas operations. This is the same process that Chrysler LLC used in its bankruptcy process. Chrysler filed for bankruptcy April 30, and the judge in that case approved the creation of a new company that will be run by Italian automaker Fiat in a ruling Sunday. GM, being a larger, more complicated and global company than Chrysler, is not expected to have its valuable units exit bankruptcy quite as quickly, though. The new GM will have only $17 billion in debt, rather than the $54.4 billion it owed as of March 31. The unions' new contracts with the company and GM's underfunded pension funds will stay with the new company.

But for the turnaround to be successful, both outside experts and company officials agree there needs to be improvement in U.S. auto sales, which have fallen to a 26-year low this year.

GM has been hit harder than most of its competitors during the sales slump. The company's U.S. sales through April were down 45% from a year ago, compared to a 37% decline for the overall industry. GM also faces tough competition from Toyota Motor (TM) and Ford Motor (F, Fortune 500), which are both in much stronger financial condition. Even though Ford has reported years of losses as well, it had far more cash on hand than GM or Chrysler going into this crisis. The same is true for Toyota, which reported a loss in its recently completed fiscal year.

GM's decision to shed its weaker brands and dealers is expected to lead to further market share losses, which could result in the company giving up its long-time position as the largest automaker in terms of U.S. sales. The company already lost the global sales title to Toyota last year, and it could soon fall behind Toyota and possibly Ford in the U.S. as well.

An Air France passenger aircraft carrying 228 people has disappeared off the coast of Brazil, officials say. The airline told CNN the Airbus A330-200 jet was making the 11-hour flight from Rio de Janeiro to Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris when contact was lost.

Brazil's air force launched a search near the archipelago of Fernando de Noronha in the Atlantic Ocean, 365 km (226 miles) from Brazil's coast, a spokesman for the air force told CNN. Two Brazilian squadrons are searching for the plane, although it disappeared after it left the country's radar space, said the officer, who declined to be named.

The flight, AF 447, took off shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday local time (6 p.m. Sunday ET) for the 11-hour flight, with 216 passengers and 12 crew members. It was scheduled to land in Paris at 11:15 a.m. local time (5:15 a.m. ET).

The last known contact with the plane was at 1:33 a.m. GMT (8:33 p.m. Sunday night ET), the Brazilian Air Force spokesman said. Air France said it could not confirm reports of a short circuit on board the aircraft. The airline said it "shared the emotion and the concern of the families concerned" adding that friends and relatives waiting at the airport would be taken to a special area. A crisis center is being set up at Charles de Gaulle where the plane had been due to land at 11.15 a.m. local time.

Agence France-Presse quoted France's Environment Minister Jean Louis Borloo saying that it was extremely unlikely the plane had been hijacked. "We are very worried," an aviation official told AFP. "The plane disappeared from the screens several hours ago. It could be a transponder problem, but this kind of fault is very rare and the plane did not land when expected."

The Airbus 330 is a twin-engine long-range aircraft introduced into commercial aviation in the 1990s. Transport analyst Kieran Daly told CNN that the lack of communication with the aircraft "does suggest it was something serious and catastrophic." He said the aircraft involved is believed to be one delivered to Air France in April 2005.

"It is an extremely young fleet by aviation standards," he said. "The A330 is state of the art with extremely reliable engines made by General Electric." CNN air travel expert Richard Quest says the plane, a stalwart of trans-Atlantic routes, has an impeccable safety record.
